HR WORKSHOP CONCLUDED AT GJIMT, MOHALI

An exclusive five daysonline workshop named ‘Managing HR in 21st Century’ concluded today at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Mohali. The aim of the workshop was to provide insights into changing paradigms of Human Resources to the young aspiring HR professionals. The panel members of the workshop included eminent personalities from the corporate world as key note speakers. The discussion during various sessions of the workshop revolved around prominent issues like Role of HR Post COVID, Employee Relations, Performance Management System, Talent Acquisition, Legal Compliance etc. The workshop witnessed an enthusiastic participation by students, academicians and professionals from around the nation in a large number. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. J. S. Bedi, Chairman, GJIMT said that the motive behind organizing such workshops is to add value to the life of students by enhancing their knowledge and skills and help them grow on professional and personal fronts. Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT also addressed the participants on this occasion and said that understanding the changing role of HR is very important for the growth and development of the organization and its stakeholders as well. The young aspiring HR professionals must inculcate the necessary interpersonal skills in order to excel in their field.
