Cleanliness Drive by GJIMT NSS Team

Team NSS-GJIMT, under the esteemed guidance of Honourable Director Mam Dr Aneet, joined hands with the MC Mohali Team on February 5th, 2024, to organize a Cleanliness Drive. With 48 dedicated NSS Volunteers participating alongside faculty members Ms Jyoti and Dr Shiv, the event aimed to make a positive impact in the community.

The primary objective of the Cleanliness Drive was twofold: to tidy up the local neighbourhoods and to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of plastic usage. Through concerted efforts and collective action, the volunteers worked tirelessly to clean the mohallas, instilling a sense of civic responsibility among residents.

As participants combed through the streets, picking up litter and spreading messages of environmental conservation, the community’s spirit of solidarity and service was palpable. The event not only fostered a cleaner and healthier environment but also empowered individuals to make conscientious choices for a sustainable future.
