Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, organized a session on “Basics of Entrepreneurial Finance: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs” for EWS women on 23 June 2026. The programme was organized by GJIMT Rotaract Club with the objective of enhancing financial awareness and promoting entrepreneurial opportunities among women.
The session focused on various sources of finance available for entrepreneurs, opportunities for establishing small businesses, government schemes for women entrepreneurs, microfinance facilities, and the role of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in encouraging financial independence and entrepreneurship.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation and successfully created awareness regarding entrepreneurial finance and economic empowerment. A total of 20 participants attended the programme along with the active involvement of 04 faculty members.
